About KFBLAKE

Hi! I'm Keith, a 15-year expert web developer located in Seattle, WA

Thanks again for taking the time to find out more about me and how I might be able to fulfill your web and software development needs.

I currently live and work in the Lower Queen Anne area of Seattle, WA, where I moved to from the Midwest in 2005. I am a recent cancer survivor as well as, what many consider, a “classic workaholic” (some say clinical, but that’s still professionally unproven) who derives satisfaction from providing needed solutions to the complex IT needs of small businesses not only in the Seattle area, but around the country.

Provided below is a little more detail regarding my background and experience. To review the specific services I can offer, visit Services

Background

My web development career started over 15 years ago when I first began work as an Assistant Manager of Technical Support at a local ISP in Cleveland, OH.

There I built a solid foundation in programming and database development in a team environment. A foundation which I then took to my first startup, a few years later, where, as a Senior Developer, I was in charge of creating a proprietary retail software package providing complete storefront and website integration to small and medium-sized businesses.

Later, I started my first consultancy practice in Columbus, OH, where I had moved, creating web-based applications and systems to local print and design firms and interactive agencies.

After launching a second web-based startup, I moved to Seattle, WA in 2005 to setup a new web and software development consultancy practice servicing, primarily, small businesses.

Throughout my career, I have created and launched dozens of websites, large web-based systems and applications including multiple content management systems, a job tracking/work order system and several secure medical data submission applications and websites. From the depth of my background, I find that I provide a unique, valuable service to small businesses in need of a liaison between the business and technology worlds who can analyze the cost benefit of new technologies against the real world needs of the individual situations unique to each business.
